If there any brand name solder's I should look for? I've actually seen this solder that cools done instantly. Have you guys seen this infommercial?

The Cold Heat Sodering Iron. I got it for Christmas it is pretty cool and it does cool down super fast but you can only do low gauge soder with it.

As far as brands go there is Wahl, Hakko, Weller, Pace, and the list goes on. I have never used the Cold Heat Soldering Iron but those that have seem to like it a lot. It all depends on what you will be soldering and how often you will use the thing. Try to shop around to find something that will meet your needs.
