Just a little tip; before you begin to rip your wiring harness apart, you have to remember that most electrical problems do not develop overnight. Usually, you can spot visual clues of the problem. Check if any wires are rubbing against any metal parts.
Another culprit, in my experience, are the fuses. So, before even touching the harness, it is a good idea to check the fuses several times. Especially, if you do not have proper equipment, it can be very difficult to see a damaged fuse. |

I'll second that on fuses there Michael.
It never ceases to amaze me the amount of people who just look at a fuse and say, "yeah that's alright".
Some of these people have never seen a meter in their life I reckon |

| Well, I think anybody who attempts to fix something must have at least a knowledge of the basics of it otherwise, there is no point fixing at all if one is just going to check and guess what happened. There will also be chances of an increased damaged, especially that electronic parts are so tiny. |
