I heard a report that there are security systems for cars, at least illegal ones?, where flames get shot up on the side of the car to prevent a hijacking. does anyone know anything about this? is it true?

It's true but probably not in your country!

We are talking real bad area's like deep South America and parts of Russia.
There are several variations on the flames, mostly gas. Twisted Evil

wow... I think that's a bit of a joke out there - it'd be nice to fry the jacker, but I don't think it'll be legal anywhere!

I never heard of that kind or car alarm before. It must be illegal to do such thing. Even if it is for good purpose i.e. to prevent car theft.

I heard someone experiments with the electrical shock. But then again, that will never be legal, mostly because of the children that might be playing around your car.

it actually isn't that difficult to wire your car to shock someone. be careful though, you could blow up your car in the process!

and the lawsuits would be a-flying like crazy... it'd be cool, but one little old lady leaning on your car to catch her breath gets shocked and you're in court!

Maybe these kinds of cars are found in the movies, everything is really
easy and possible in films. Smile
